The Challenge Coaching Protocols (CCPs) are Goals created for financial coaches to help address some of the immediate and/or crisis needs for their financial coaching customers. Similar to adding a Goal with Actions, each of these specific financial security areas will be added to a customers record after taking the short quiz to assess the Actions they can take to address this area.
Adding a Challenge Coaching Protocol Goal
- Log into Salesforce and open the COACH app.
- Open an existing customer record or create a New Contact.
- In the Goals tab, click the purple plus sign icon and select Add Challenge.
- In the list of available Challenges, select the one most fitting to your customer's presenting issue and select Take Survey.
- Answer the survey questions with your customer and click Save & Add Challenge when complete.
- There will be a new Goal added to the Goals tab with recommended Actions to take based on the survey responses.
- Actions can be added or deleted from the new Goal.
Updating a Customer's Progress
After meeting with your customer to update Goal progress, do not forget to update that progress!
- Click the three horizontal dots at the far right of your Action and select Edit.
- On the Notes screen, you and edit the following information:
- Status Options:
- On Deck: This is the default status of every added action. This means an Action has not yet been started.
- Doing: This Action is currently in progress.
- Next Check-In: This Action will be addressed in the next Meeting with your customer.
- Completed: This Action has been completed.
- Action Due Date: Add a Due Date for your Action.
- Notes: Add any notes to your Action that are relevant to your customer and this Action.
- Status Options:
- You can also change the Goal Status by clicking the Status field on each Action and selecting a different Status.
- Some Actions have attached Tools (worksheets) that can be views and/or saved to share with your customers.
- Click Save to save the changes to an Action.
