When entering financial information in the COACH App for a client, if you have not already met with them in the current month and year, you will see two buttons:
- Go to Most Recent Record: Takes you to the most recent Date Record (Month and Year) that was created (not grayed out).
- Copy Previously Entered Data: To enter data for the current Month and Year (creates a new Date Record), choose this option.
When editing previously entered financial information:
- Click on the Go to Most Recent Record button or click the Month buttons to choose the Month of the information you would like to edit.
- Choose the Financial Information Tab (Assets/Debt, Spending Plan, Credit, or Taxes) that you would like to edit.
- After adding, removing, or updating the item that needs to be edited, above that section, click on the Copy Forward [Section Name] button to copy forward only that section's information into the current month and year.
- Repeat this for every Tab and section within that Tab (Credit and Taxes do not have sections) that you want to make changes to the financial information that was added previously.
NOTE: You must do this EACH TIME you are editing previously entered information so that future Date Records will also update with these changes.
When adding information for a new month and year:
- Click on the Copy Previously Entered Data button to create a new Date Record for the current month and year.
- This is the only way to create new Date Records. At the moment, it is not possible to create Date Records for future months.

- All financial information from the Assets/Debt, Spending Plan, Credit, and Taxes Tabs will be copied forward from last created Date Record.
- If no Date Records were created between the last time a Coach met with a client until the present month and year, the Date Records for the months in between will be automatically created and all financial information will be copied into those months as well.

- After the information has been copied to the current month, make any changes or updates to the financial information for the current month.
