Find the Change Machine Configuration App
NOTE: To view the App, a User must have both CM Configuration Permission Sets.
- Log into Salesforce.
- Click on the App Launcher. This is a square icon made of nine (9) dots on the left side of your screen.
- In the search box, type Change Machine Configuration and select it.
- If you do not see the Change Machine Configuration App, you do not have permissions to view and use the App. You may need to adjust your permissions or speak with your System Administrator to get access.
Refresh Cash Values
Cash Values for Contacts should be refreshed at least once a week to ensure that the values are being updated regularly. Follow the instructions below to schedule the refresh.
- In the Change Machine Configuration App, select the Refresh Cash Values and Outcomes tab.
- In the first section, Refresh Cash Values, you can:
- Refresh Cash Values manually but clicking the button under One Time Update.
- Schedule Automatic Updates by selecting a day of the week (or multiple days) and a time in which the update will happen. Click the Schedule New Cash Value Updates button to save your automatic update schedule.
NOTE: You will always be able to cancel any scheduled updates before the date/time requested by selecting the Cancel Upcoming Jobs button. This button will only be available if a schedule has already been saved previously.
Refresh Outcomes
Outcomes for Contacts should be refreshed at least once a week to ensure that the values are being updated regularly. Follow the instructions below to schedule the refresh.

- In the second section, Refresh Outcomes, you can:
- Refresh Outcomes manually but clicking the button under One Time Update.
- Schedule Automatic Updates by selecting a day of the week (or multiple days) and a time in which the update will happen. Click the Schedule New Outcomes Updates button to save your automatic update schedule.
NOTE: You will always be able to cancel any scheduled updates before the date/time requested by selecting the Cancel Upcoming Jobs button. This button will only be available if a schedule has already been saved previously.
Empty Contact Summary Data
It is not often but it could be possible that you have Contact Summary Data records that are not related to a Contact. This empty Contact Summary Data record can be deleted using the instructions below.
- In the Change Machine Configuration App, select the Refresh Cash Values and Outcomes tab.
- In the third section, Empty Contact Summary Data, you can:
- Delete Empty Contact Summary Data manually but clicking the button under One Time Update.
- Schedule Automatic Updates by selecting a day of the week (or multiple days) and a time in which the update will happen. Click the Schedule New Empty Contact Summary Data Updates button to save your automatic update schedule.
NOTE: You will always be able to cancel any scheduled updates before the date/time requested by selecting the Cancel Upcoming Jobs button. This button will only be available if a schedule has already been saved previously.
